Biography

Jiachen (Jason) Zhou is a MASc student at TRAIL. His research focuses on 3D perception for autonomous vehicles. He is also the 3D object detection lead at aUToronto, UofT’s self-driving car team. He received his BASc degree in Engineering Science (Robotics major, AI minor) in 2021 from the University of Toronto. During his undergraduate study, he had the opportunity to gain research experience in monocular 3D object detection in both academia and industry.
